Hillsborough County Public Schools McLane Middle School Fire Restoration

In the middle of summer in 2019, a lightning strike caused fire damage to McLane Middle School’s seventh grade building—requiring a timely response for a key portion of the campus. With the affected building requiring removal, the project moved forward with taking the building down with the help of Beck-Envision and creating a new STEM-driven outdoor classroom in its place.

With Envision serving as The Beck Group’s construction management partner, our team safely demolished the building while keeping surrounding classrooms intact. Additionally, parking lot repairs and installation of new aluminum canopies, sidewalks, and 14,000 SF of hand-graded sod were performed to help restore surrounding areas.
